My name is Julie and I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 17 years. In that time I have worked in many areas, including acute care, rehab and mental health. I'm currently working in family medicine by day, and private practice by night. I see people in person as well as virtually.


My approach focuses on Intuitive Eating, finding pleasure in movement and fostering a positive body image. I will help you tune into your body to eat mindfully, paying attention to taste and listening to your internal cues of hunger and fullness, while eating a balanced diet so you can feel your best, both physically and mentally. This holds true whether you have a chronic disease (like diabetes, heart disease or hypertension) or you are just done with the dieting roller coaster and want to explore how to stop weight cycling.


I am a weight inclusive dietitian. This means I value and respect people of all weights and sizes. I do not believe you need be a certain weight to improve self esteem, energy, blood sugars, cholesterol, joint pain, etc (the list is as endless as the weight stigma present in our culture).


Another passion I have is gut heath. Whether you suffer from IBS (bloating, distension, diarrhea, constipation), IBD (Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis), Celiac Disease, or reflux, we can work together to determine the best way for you to eat to help alleviate your symptoms.
