Dina Skaff is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in supporting clients and families with eating disorders, disordered eating, eating challenges (including picky eating, selective eating, mealtime issues) or other challenges with food and nutrition. She has dedicated over half of her career to working with adults, children and families to facilitate positive changes and help improve their relationship with food.
Dina follows a client-centred, non-diet approach to nutrition and health. She works with her clients to help them to make peace with food, and guides clients in using intuitive eating practices in order to enhance health and wellbeing. Dina works with her clients’ healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
A graduate of the Nutrition Sciences program at the University of Ottawa, Dina completed an integrated dietetic internship with rotations throughout Ottawa including the Ottawa Hospital, and the Regional Treatment Centre for Eating Disorders. She worked as the clinical dietitian at the Ottawa Hospital in the cystic fibrosis clinic, and in the inpatient cardiology and mental health units. She has also worked in various other specialties including oncology and general surgery.
